The vivid curiosity, the image of a big smile and a pair of wide eyes when joy and pleasure of some discovery or understanding occur, the candour, the explosion of energy – here are some of the traits I admire in children.
In 1996, after five years of studying, I graduated from „Andrei Mureșianu” Pedagogical High School in Brașov. I became a primary school teacher and had the pleasure to guide my first students in a public school.
I believe that we, as human beings, are always on a path of becoming. Therefore, soon after I chose to continue my education in Bucharest. In 2001, I graduated from the Faculty of Economic Studies in Foreign Languages; one year later, I obtained the Certificate which allows me to teach, and worked for different private companies. My diverse professional experience allowed me to learn, get to know and understand different layers which otherwise might have remained unknown.
During the last years, I have dedicated my energy to children, including teaching in several private schools. I thought it was time for me to contribute to shaping the younger generations.
As stated before, I believe that the learning process is a lifetime activity. I also consider that I still have a lot of things to learn, including from children. I came to Avenor College eager to bring my contribution and to learn together with an enthusiastic team of professionals. Thus, I have continued my journey towards profound knowledge and refinement (in August 2022 I have earned the Second Degree (Gradul Didactic II); moreover, I have attended various courses: The TKT Course CLIL Module for Primary on Cambridge University, CRED – Curriculum relevant, educație deschisă pentru toți, CGC Modules with Kevin Bartlett).
The end of each school year fills me with joy, reflecting on the journey I’ve shared with my students, while the start of a new year brings a sense of excitement and hope for new beginnings. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead, filled with discoveries and successes!
