My name is Nasreen Hammad. I am working at Avenor College as a Nursery Class teacher. 

Since childhood, I have had the passion to equip myself with a good education and share my knowledge with others. After finishing my bachelor’s degree in psychology, I started my teaching journey in 2007 and worked for 5 years in different international schools in Pakistan as a nursery teacher. 

After moving to Romania in 2012, I didn’t stop and followed my passion for educating young learners. From 2014 until today, I have served in multiple international schools in Bucharest and found myself very well integrated into a diverse community of students, parents, and coworkers. Extracurricular activities and after-school clubs play an important role in developing essential skills for students, and I had the experience to develop and oversee the planning and organisation of after-school clubs for multiple educational institutions as well.

My passion for education as a teacher motivates me to design engaging lessons, cultivate a nurturing environment for kids, and ignite a love for learning in my students. I am fully committed to empowering them, fostering their growth, and shaping their futures with enthusiasm and care. 

In the early years, teachers play an important role in a child’s education by laying the foundation for their academic and personal development. They create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe to explore, learn, and grow. They design and deliver age-appropriate lessons, using various teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs. They assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and offer individualised support. In the early years, teachers also nurture social skills, emotional well-being, and character development for young students.

During the last 15 years, I have been part of many international schools and have served in different roles, including class teacher, subject teacher, and support teacher. Working in different international schools with a diverse community of parents, students, and colleagues helped me understand different cultures better and adapt to different situations. Avenor College is one of the emerging, well-reputed international schools in Bucharest, Romania, which is helping students identify their hidden potential and provide an international standard education, helping kids frame their future.

I am looking forward to sharing my experience and knowledge to discover together all the exciting activities prepared for this school year.
