Form Tutor Pregătitoare Omega
The upcoming academic year promises new opportunities, and I am confident these will lead to an exceptional experience. I am excited to continue my journey at the Greenfield campus as a primary school teacher.
Since 2005, I have been teaching at Avenor nursery, where I found a perfect environment to grow as an educator. Throughout my time here, I’ve had the chance to work with various age groups, which has allowed me to interact and collaborate with numerous students, teachers, and parents. This experience has helped me develop a deep understanding of how to tailor my teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of children.
In recent years, I have furthered my professional journey and became the Maths Subject Leader for the nursery. I’m eager to extend this experience to the school level, much like how our nursery students naturally progress to Pregătitoare grade.
My time at Avenor has been one of growth, allowing me to confidently adjust my teaching style to suit students of all ages. I take great pleasure in engaging children in active learning and understanding their unique educational needs. Avenor is a place where children can thrive emotionally, socially, physically, and academically. Throughout my experience here, I’ve learned that each day with the children is a joyful part of a larger journey, filled with wonderful and surprising moments.
I started my career in education while still a university student, involved in social volunteer work. As I progressed through my studies, I became increasingly focused on finding innovative approaches within the educational system. Before completing my degree, I began exploring the British curriculum in a small private nursery.
In 2006, I graduated from the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, with a specialisation in Educational Sciences. In 2008, I completed a master’s degree in School and Career Counseling, followed by a GCDF specialisation in Counseling Supervision in 2009. I am also certified as an EYFS teacher for the British curriculum. Continuing my education at the University of Bucharest, I earned a dual qualification in Preschool and Primary Education Pedagogy, along with my teaching certification.
My passions, such as fine arts, crafts, sewing, and mathematics, have always been a source of inspiration in my teaching.
What drives me most as a teacher at Avenor is my commitment to the well-being of each child. I firmly believe in the power of collaboration between teachers, students, parents, and colleagues.
The experience I’ve gained over the years will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth transition for children moving from nursery to school. I’m proud to be part of the Avenor team and look forward to working with the children, striving to build a strong school-family partnership for their education.
