Andrei Vasiliu
Teacher of Physics
I am a young physicist researcher, and I am extremely excited to teach the younger generations about the fascinating world of science and the natural phenomena that surround us. Physics is a discipline that explores the fundamental laws and principles governing our universe and allows us to understand how everything works.
I have a deep passion for teaching physics and I believe in the importance of a solid science education for the mental development and personal growth of each student. My goal is to encourage students to explore and discover the world of physics through hands-on experiments and interactive discussions, to help develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
In 2018, I graduated from “Colegiul Național Cantemir Vodă” in Bucharest, specializing in Natural Sciences. Due to my passion for understanding the physical phenomena we encounter almost every day, I chose to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Physics at the University of Bucharest. In the same year, I enrolled in the Psycho Pedagogical Module courses at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Bucharest, Level I, and upon completion of my undergraduate studies, I received certification to teach Physics. In 2021, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Physics, specializing in Medical Physics, and in the same year, I began my Master’s studies in the field of medical physics.
In 2023, I completed my journey in the Master’s program in Medical Physics and will begin my Ph.D. at the Faculty of Physics at the University of Bucharest.
Throughout my student years, I have done research internships from 2020 to 2023 at the Emergency University Hospital in Bucharest, specifically in the Neurology Department, Epilepsy, and Sleep Laboratory. Additionally, in 2022, I became a certified medical physicist expert in the field of electrophysiology in this laboratory.
Since 2021, I have also been volunteering in various research experiments at the International Research and Education Center for Innovative Creative Technologies – CINETIC.
After completing my undergraduate studies, I became a mentor for fellow students in lower years who were eager to learn more about this branch of physics. This mentoring activity made me consider a career in education.
I believe it is crucial to pass on my knowledge to future generations who are eager to explore and deeply understand the secrets of the universe we live in.
I am at the beginning of my teaching career, but I believe that the most suitable place to start this journey is within Avenor, where I can develop as a Physics teacher, but most importantly, where I can shape and guide the future generations.
