My name is Ioana Andreea Gafencu and I am a Primary Music Teacher. I’ve been studying music from a very early age. I guide myself in my profession by the fact that we should learn and develop ourselves as long as we live. 

I have graduated from Bucharest University of Music promotion 2009, piano performance and pedagogy and studied different teaching techniques since then. I have performed in National and International Piano Competitions, participated in Music Conferences and Workshops studying the Kodaly and Dalcroze music teaching methods.  I consider myself a long-time learner and feel like my profession has embraced me in such a wonderful manner. 

My relationship with my students is trust based as I strongly believe there is music in every single one of us and everybody can learn how to sing or play a musical instrument for their balanced development.

I am a proud mother of a delightful teenager who is my inspiration in everyday life. My profession is my passion and my way of life.
