Ana – Maria Radu

Nursery Teacher

My name is Ana – Maria Radu and I have been working with children since 2015. I always knew what I wanted to become when I grew up: a teacher. I used to take all my toys and spent my whole day teaching them to read and write.

I worked as a teacher in public nurseries, in foreign language centres and private schools, and then step by step I joined British nurseries. Working in nurseries that apply the British curriculum, gave me the opportunity to take part in different courses where I could find out more specific details about this curriculum.

Regarding my studies, I graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, where I also joined the courses of Psycho Pedagogical Module – Level 1. This course helped me to better understand the teaching – learning process and the structure of an effective lesson. Beyond the learning that takes place every day, I strongly believe that the relationship between the teacher and the children is very important and should be based on trust and knowing each other. That is why from the first interaction with my students I try to find out as much as possible about them, being curious to discover their interests.

I consider myself a creative and energetic person, who easily adapts to the needs and requirements of those around me. I like to spend my time outdoors in nature, reading and cooking.

I am convinced that at Avenor I will meet new people who are willing to share their experiences and as a team we will guide the children to step into the future.
