Cezara Manea-Lungu

Nursery Teacher

I am Cezara Manea-Lungu and I have been part of the Avenor team from 2021, as a Year  One teacher, and I can say it was one of the most intense and adventurous year of my life.  I have been blessed with quite a lot of memories together with this wonderfully supportive team.

Being a teacher is definitely my vocation. Since I was a little girl, growing up with solid role models around me, my mother, my grandfather and my grand grandfather, I always knew that I would be a teacher.

Concerning my education, I graduated in 2004 from the College for School Teachers at ‘Petru Maior’ University in Târgu – Mureș. In 2006, I graduated from the Faculty of Romanian and English Language, and in 2015, I completed my studies at the Faculty of Psychology at Dimitrie Cantemir University.

My experience as a teacher started in 2004, after I graduated College, surrounding myself with joy, laughter and happiness, gathering lovely memories among the children I had the chance to work with.

The motto I follow is “prepare the children for the path, instead the path for the children”, because I learnt in my whole experience how important is for the children to be balanced and ready for the challenges of life. As human beings, we have needs and desires, we are all similar, but still different. It is our duty, as teachers, to adapt to every child’s need, in order to help and guide them to be ready and prepared for the real world. Being a teacher for more than 15 years has taught me that the learning process must be centred on each child, because they have different interests, abilities, competences and rhythms.

Regarding my passions, I love reading and practising sports, especially in nature. I consider that these hobbies help me to find my balance and to learn more about myself, as our journey is a continuous development.

As teachers, we have the chance to touch the children’s hearts, minds, souls and in return, they remind us the pure and simple joys of life. Avenor Community gave me the chance to feel and live these treasured emotions. For me, Avenor is the family who gives you wings to fly, is always next to you, encouraging you to improve and grow as a teacher and as a human being.
