Livia Sorohan
Nursery Pediatrician
My name is Livia Sorohan, I am 42 years old and am a physician specialised in Paediatrics. I have been a part of the Avenor team for eleven years and I can say that I am very glad about that.
Working in this field of medicine is very special, you have to be very devoted but it gives you a lot of satisfaction. I joined this team because I
love children, but also because the work seemed very appealing.
As a doctor, the greatest satisfaction is keeping your patients healthy and a nursery school is the most appropriate setting for prevention. Moreover, I can now say that after eleven years, my work is even more interesting, exciting and complex since I interact with children, parents and staff members.
My work keeps me fit and constantly seeking perfection. Working here furthered the experience I had already gained in my medical profession. I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Carol Davila, Bucharest in 2005; afterwards, I took a residency as a specialist in Paediatrics until 2010. From 2007, I started working in a private clinic.
Since 2009, I have been employed as a paediatrician in the private health system. I have attended the PALS first aid course, as well as an international course as a breastfeeding counsellor. In the past two years I have completed my studies with a Master in ‘’Nutrition and Food Safety’’ and a general ultrasound course;
One of my main interests is to constantly improve my skills, keeping up-to-date with new developments in my field.
With this in mind, I have taken part in a number of specialist conferences. I am eagerly awaiting the start of a new year at Avenor Nursery.
